Who it’s for

Help customers find products quickly with typo-tolerant, weighted search that prioritizes product names.
-
Knowledge bases
Technical documentation sites benefit from phrase boosting and synonym support for industry terminology.
-
Community sites
Forums and membership sites can track what users search for and improve content based on demand.
-
Portfolio sites
Even smaller sites benefit from instant search that feels modern and professional.
Version 2.1.05 is a security release. Excerpt text is now withheld for password-protected posts in search results, live AJAX results, and Ask Site sources — protected posts remain findable by title, matching WordPress core behaviour. Archive entry reads are bounded when extracting text from Office and OpenDocument uploads, so a decompression bomb can no longer exhaust memory during indexing.
Three more fixes close gaps worth knowing about: the client-supplied User-Agent header is no longer part of rate-limit bucket keys, so the limiter can no longer be bypassed by varying it; a tracked search click is now validated as referring to an existing, publicly viewable post before analytics rows are written; and the document Test Parse action is authorized against the specific attachment rather than the media library as a whole.
